The Satanic Bible presents teachings that directly oppose biblical truth. Published by Anton LaVey in 1969, it promotes self-worship and denies God's authority through three main deceptions: humans are their own gods, sin is natural and good, and there is no afterlife. These claims mirror Satan's original deception in Eden but contradict God's Word, which teaches that true wisdom begins with acknowledging God, that sin leads to death, and that every person faces eternal consequences for their choices. The Satanic Bible's teachings reveal Satan's continued strategy to deceive through the same lies used in Eden, masquerading as an angel of light and twisting the truth, using just enough of it to make the lie believable. This knowledge empowers us to help others trapped by these lies see that God offers real answers to life's deepest questions and true satisfaction for our souls' deepest longings. We are all born with a God-shaped hole that we try to fill with ourselves or with sinful vices. However, the contrast between Satan's empty promises and God's faithful truth reveals the salvation and fullness of life available for those who trust in Christ for the forgiveness of sins.
